Fine Print Auditor processes supported documents locally for text extraction, then sends extracted text to the server-side analysis service. We do not collect, store, or retain any documents you upload. When you use our service:

• Document text is sent to our AI provider (OpenRouter) for analysis only
• Processing occurs in memory and the data is discarded immediately after analysis
• We do not save documents to any database or storage system
• We do not create user accounts

2. AI Processing

Your document content is transmitted to AI models via OpenRouter's API for the sole purpose of generating an analysis. This data may be processed by the AI provider in accordance with their privacy policy. We recommend reviewing OpenRouter's Privacy Policy.

3. Cookies & Analytics

We do not currently use Vercel Analytics. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels as part of the Fine Print Auditor application.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data during transmission. However, no method of electronic transmission is 100% secure. Since we do not store your documents, there is no data at rest to secure.

5. Children's Privacy

Our service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

6. Your Rights

Since we do not store your personal data, there is no data to access, correct, or delete. You have full control over your documents — they never leave your device except for real-time analysis.
